*Antibodies against what are protective against Pertussis??

i meant Abs against which part (capsule, toxin , ..etc) , & Abs against the filamentous haemagglutinin ,a

protein by which the organism can be attached to the cilia can actually protect against the disease.


* What are the functions of antibodies??

definitely the function is protection ,but how??

& u were right

this is through
1\neutralization of toxins & viruses.
2\opsonization.
3\activation of complement.
4\prevention the attachment of microbes to mucosal surfaces.


*What is most common bacterial cause of Enterocolitis??

it is Compylobacter
